celtx script App Reviews

I cant work on my last files, it very slow to update my data. I want to use te previous version. It crashes continuously.

I love using this app as I already use celtx on my Mac. But I think the developers can add more features from the desktop application, like title page, character and props and more share features. Keep on with the good job.

How can I open .celtx files that I created with my computer?

I need to have my money back. This application cant open offline my old scripts made with celtx on my pc. I need to have my money back for this application I cant use. Thank you

The app is great but after a week or so you need to pay, which I didnt know before getting the app.

Tried to use but was never sent an email to verify account after trying 5 times. Lame!

The app does not sync properly with your online account. I have lost edits several times by opening the script to read in the app, but it pulls up an old version instead. Today I lost 5 pages and three writing sessions in about 45 seconds. Skip the app and use the web interface.

This is a great app if you write all the way through your script without changing anything. However when you go back to correct things, its formatting gets kind of squirrelly. I use it mostly for comics writing, and the panels number get off right away. It will start number from you total number of panels. So if you are on page 5 panel 1 in the script, it might format it as panel 25. It makes for frustrating revisions because then you have to go back and correct all the panel numbers, which means you waste a ton of time. Also, why cant you format with double spacing? Im better off using Pages and format by hand.

Since the most recent update, this app is completly unusable. Before, it worked perfectly fine. I mainly used it to read the scripts and I never edited things, so my "perfectly fine" varies from others. But now anytime I try to open it, I log in, it loads, and it crashes. Ive tried logging in many times, and Ive reinstalled the whole program. Until they fix this issue, this app is a waste of space on anyones phone.

I had an idea for this app and posted it on my previous review. That review disappeared. I dont know why my idea and review disappeared. Sorry about that.

Celtx could be great with some updates. My account is constantly locking me out. In order to get back into it, I have to reset my password. When I do get back in, edits are frequently lost due to constant crashes. Its not worth the hassle if I cant work.

Latest update fixed a lot of problems. More seamless between PC and phone. Wish theyd make a desktop version for Windows.

I believe Celtx is the best tool for writers, however, its horrible when it comes to app making. Every time I log in, it crashed and so far, the other reviews are atrocious about it as well.

I used to love it! but after awhile it stopped working. I did not realize I had to pay after the first few weeks.

Looked promising. Wanted to check out how it felt to write on my iPad before I dropped ten bucks on a quality app, but I couldnt get it to stop crashing and locking me out of my account.

CAN NOT SIGN OUT!!! Where do I sign out?? I have to redownload every time I need to sign back in under a different account. SEND UPDATES!!! this is one of the reasons you have low stars. Get on your A game.

Tons of lost edits, and rewrites. Should be a stand alone the syncing is what is screwing things up.

Every time I open a project on the app, all the work Ive done on an actual computer gets deleted. This has happened so many times. Every time I go to tech support about it they ask me if I was working through the app and then I have to go into the history of the project and copy and paste the draft that got deleted. It is incredibly ridiculous. Literally not even the tech support thinks this app works. Why do you have an app if your tech support is going to tell me not to use it?? I cant express how angry this makes me. Its happened time and time again. Get rid of this freaking app until you can figure it out.

This app has helped me out a lot now that I can write when away from the computer. I read negative reviews of people who had technical issues but it seems to have been updated since because I have had zero issues with it.
